Soil Spreading Tips
For new vegetable and flower gardens:
Till and loosen the top six inches of garden soil, and rake to level. Evenly spread two inches of Premium Garden Soil and till the soils together to a uniform depth of four to six inches. One Blue Cube enriches 162 square feet of new vegetable and flower gardens.
To revive old or tired vegetable and flower gardens:
Till and loosen the top four inches of soil and rake to level. Evenly spread one inch of Premium Garden Soil and till the soils together to a uniform depth of four inches. One Blue Cube enriches 324 square feet of old and tired vegetable and flower garden soils.
To bring new life to your lawn in the Spring:
Evenly spread ¼ to ½ inch of Premium Garden Soil over the entire lawn and lightly rake until most of the soil has sifted between the blades of grass. This is also a good time to add new seed. For optimal results, core aerate or spike the lawn in two directions before topdressing. One Blue Cube top-dresses 650 to 1,300 square feet of lawn.
